The Pears Cumbria School of Medicine: Marketing Curvoramas
Translating a new brand into flexible storytelling displays
Building on the work for the school’s launch, I continued the partnership with the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine to create ‘Curvoramas’. Large, curved displays used at open days, recruitment fairs and partner events.
These needed to be more than just visual backdrops. They had to act as practical storytelling tools, helping the school communicate its purpose clearly and confidently in person.
My role
I led the design and print management of the curvoramas, applying the brand to large-scale physical displays.
This included developing infographics, setting up print-ready artwork and overseeing production to ensure the final results reflected the integrity of the brand.
Approach
Working closely with the PCSM team, I considered the different audiences the displays would speak to. From prospective students to local partners.
Using a modular design system, the panels could be updated, rearranged or adapted depending on the context. This flexibility allows the school to tailor its message while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
A key element was developing a detailed timeline infographic that worked with the curved structure. It needed to include major milestones while telling the story of the school’s creation in a way that felt clear and engaging.
Outcome
The result is a suite of flexible, large-scale displays that carry the brand confidently into physical spaces.
They give the school a consistent and welcoming presence at events, ensuring the identity translates seamlessly from digital platforms into real-world interactions.
