UAL: EDI Report 2015/16

Designing a clear and accessible digital EDI report

The University of the Arts London sought to present its 2015-16 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion data in a more accessible and engaging format.

It was the first time the University had delivered its annual EDI metrics in this way, with a focus on clarity and transparency.

My role

I led the end-to-end design and development of the digital report.

This included analysing the data, structuring the content and designing infographics to communicate key insights clearly.

Approach

I began by reviewing the data and mapping the core messages.

Through layout, hierarchy and visual systems, I translated complex metrics into a structured and easy-to-navigate format. Close collaboration with stakeholders ensured accuracy and clarity throughout.

Outcome

The final report presented EDI data in a clearer and more accessible format.

It provided a structured foundation for communicating equality metrics in future reporting cycles.
